Dr. Maria Vimala Lewis graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) degree from Fr. Muller’s Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Mangalore, India.

She began her career working at a government health center and a private practice in her hometown. Later, she served as a tutor of Homeopathic Materia Medica and a homeopathic doctor at Fr. Muller’s Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital for two years before relocating to the Middle East with her family.

Dr. Vimala brings over 20 years of clinical experience as a Classical Homeopathic Practitioner, including 15 years of dedicated practice in Dubai. Before joining DHTC in October 2014 as a Homeopathic Practitioner, she worked in two reputed medical centers in Dubai.

She has received advanced training in “Predictive Homeopathy” from Mumbai, India, and the I.C.R methodology from Dr. Dhawale’s Institute, Mumbai, while primarily practicing classical homeopathy. Her expertise lies in treating children’s health issues, skin conditions, female menopause, and related health problems. She is also deeply passionate about managing anxiety and depression cases.

In June 2022, Dr. Vimala completed her “Fellowship in Homeopathic Dermatology” from Dr. Batra’s Academy, Mumbai, along with a refresher course in “General Practice and Homeopathy” from the same institute. Dedicated to staying current with evolving practices, she is now pursuing a refresher course in “Classical Homeopathy and New Current Trends” from Dr. Prabhat’s platform, India.
